Welcome to my yoga community, beautiful soul — thank you for being here and taking the time to get to know me.
I’m a qualified Kids Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa, and Prenatal Yoga teacher offering welcoming indoor and outdoor classes across Perth’s Northern Beaches.
With a beginner-friendly approach and supportive guidance throughout each class, I create space for every body and every stage — from complete beginners to more experienced yogis.

BACKGROUND
Originally from the stunning Lake District in the UK, I made the leap to Perth, Australia in 2011, and it’s been a wonderful adventure ever since. My family, a beautiful blend of my husband Ryan, our daughters Elsie, Sadie, my son James, and stepdaughter Taya, fills my life with joy.
My personal journey with yoga began 10 years ago during my pregnancy with James, as I sought a nurturing practice that was perfect for first-time mums.

At Flow with Jo, I create welcoming, inclusive yoga spaces where people can move, breathe, reconnect, and feel supported exactly as they are.
Through mindful movement and community-led classes, I aim to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing while encouraging balance, connection, and calm in everyday life.

THE FULL STORY
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
My journey with yoga began during pregnancy in 2015. From that very first experience, I was captivated by the sense of connection, calm, and strength it offered. While it took years of consistent practice to fully understand yoga’s physical and mental benefits, those early moments planted a seed that would continue to grow alongside me.
In 2019, inspired by my son James, I felt called to train as a children’s yoga teacher. Teaching kids was joyful and rewarding, but I soon realised my curiosity ran deeper. I wanted to truly understand yoga’s ancient lineage and how it supports people of all ages, bodies, and life stages.
After completing my Hatha Vinyasa teacher training in April 2022, I committed to a daily personal practice. Teaching weekly at a local yoga studio and my gym, I finally felt aligned — living with purpose and sharing a practice that supports strength, balance, and wellbeing for everyone who steps onto the mat.
In May 2023, after years of hope and perseverance, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Sadie into our blended family. Our lives filled with laughter, love, and the beautiful chaos of parenthood, which gently led me to step back from teaching for a time.
In October 2024, I qualified as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher, deepening my passion for supporting people through pregnancy and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to creating inclusive, supportive spaces where every body feels welcome, respected, and empowered.
Then, in September 2025, we welcomed the final — and very unexpected — piece of our family, our gorgeous daughter Elsie. This beautiful surprise placed a pause on my business ideas, allowing me to fully embrace this precious season of family life.
Currently, I offer two classes per week and truly cherish the diverse mix of students who attend. I love teaching people of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities, and I’m proud of the supportive community we are building together.
While parenthood is my main priority right now, it continues to shape my vision for the future. I look forward to expanding my offerings, knowledge and sharing yoga in ways that support strength, connection, and wellbeing — drawing from both my professional training and lived experience.
