ABOUT ME

Welcome to my yoga community beautiful soul, thanks for stopping by and getting to know me. I am a qualified Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, offering in-person & online classes. Originally a kids yoga teacher, I teach form a beginner's mindset whilst offering options for improvers and advanced yogis, making my class suitable for all levels.

BACKGROUND

Originally from the stunning Lake District in the UK, I made the leap to Perth, Australia in 2011, and it’s been a wonderful adventure ever since. My family, a beautiful blend of my husband Ryan, our daughter Sadie, my son James, and stepdaughter Taya, fills my life with joy.

 

My personal journey with yoga began nine years ago during my pregnancy with James, as I sought a nurturing practice that was perfect for first-time mums.

At Flow with Jo, my mission is to create a welcoming inclusive space where individuals can connect with their inner selves through the practice of yoga. I am dedicated to promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

 

Embracing mindfulness and finding balance in their lives, through personalized instruction and a supportive environment, I strive to inspire growth, healing, and transformation for all.

THE FULL STORY

Welcome to my journey of yoga and motherhood!

 

My first experience with yoga while pregnant 9 years ago captivated me, but it took years of practice to truly appreciate its physical and mental benefits.

 

In 2019, inspired by my son James, I felt a calling to become a kids yoga teacher, while teaching kids was fun it didn't fulfill me, I needed to know more about this ancient lineage.

 

After completing my Hatha Vinyasa teacher training in April 2022, I embraced a dedicated daily practice.  Teaching weekly in a local yoga studio and at my gym I finally felt like I was living my purpose.  

 

In May 2023, after years of hope and perseverance, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Sadie into our blended family, filling our lives with laughter and joy. This led me to taking a step back from teaching yoga for a while.

 

  I currently offer two classes per week, and I cherish the diverse mix of students who attend and the supportive community we are building together

​​Currently I am studying to be a prenatal yoga teacher, I am dedicated to learning and sharing the transformative benefits of yoga for expecting mamas. Once qualified, I look forward to empowering women through this beautiful practice, drawing from my own experiences and knowledge to support you on this incredible journey to motherhood.
